What this code covers
High intensity hours after 8pm on a weekday. Split mixed shifts at the 8pm boundary, same as the standard set.
The high intensity versions of the personal care codes, for participants whose plans fund complex supports: things like PEG feeding, complex bowel care, ventilator management or severe behaviours that need a worker with specific training.
The day and time rules mirror the standard set exactly; only the caps are higher, a few dollars an hour over the standard rate. Whether a participant is funded at high intensity is set by their plan, not by the worker, so check before assuming the higher cap.
