What this code covers

Covers any hours worked on a Sunday, at a higher cap than Saturday. The whole day is one rate, whatever time the shift starts.

This is the bread-and-butter code set for personal care work: showering, dressing, meals, medication prompts and the rest of the daily routine, delivered one-to-one. If you are a sole trader doing in-home shifts, most of your invoices will lead with one of these codes.

The code changes with when you work, not what you do. The same shift is claimed under a different line depending on whether it lands on a weekday, after 8pm, overnight, on a weekend or on a public holiday. If one shift crosses a boundary, say 6pm to 10pm on a Tuesday, split it: the hours before 8pm go on the daytime code and the hours after on the evening code.
